Abstract

This study addresses the application of PeptiStrong™ supplementation, a complex of bioactive peptides derived from fava bean protein (Vicia faba), within the context of a resistance training protocol focused on muscle hypertrophy. Developed with the support of artificial intelligence algorithms, PeptiStrong™ has demonstrated, in preclinical models, the ability to stimulate the anabolic mTOR pathway and inhibit the expression of genes related to muscle atrophy, as well as reduce inflammatory markers. Preliminary clinical trials suggest positive effects on strength recovery, fatigue reduction, and regulation of molecular markers such as myostatin. Based on this evidence, a 3-month clinical case study was conducted, in which a female resistance training practitioner received daily PeptiStrong™ supplementation combined with supervised training and a controlled dietary plan. Variables such as body composition, maximal strength, blood biomarkers, and subjective perception of fatigue were evaluated to analyze the effectiveness of PeptiStrong™ as a supportive agent in promoting muscle hypertrophy in humans.
