Abstract

Fractures of the upper third of the face, especially those involving the frontal bone and the superior orbital rim, represent a challenge for the surgeon and oral and maxillofacial traumatologist. The coronal approach has been widely used to provide adequate exposure and surgical control in these cases. This paper presents a case report of an upper-third facial fracture treated using the coronal approach, highlighting technical aspects, advantages, risks, and clinical outcomes.
