Abstract

This article analyzes Donald Trump's presidential elections (2016 and 2020) from a pro-conservative perspective, highlighting factors that contributed to his political rise, such as the erosion of the political establishment, the rejection of globalization, and the strengthening of economic nationalism. The study uses qualitative analysis of speeches, electoral data, and specialized bibliography to demonstrate how Trump became a symbol of conservative reaction to progressive hegemony in the cultural, economic, and media spheres. It is concluded that his political legacy transcends the electoral results, consolidating a new current within the Republican Party and reshaping the American political field.
